Ozempic has been marketed by the Novo Nordisk laboratory since 2019, on prescription only, for the treatment of insufficiently controlled type 2 diabetes. This antidiabetic drug, which has become the star of social networks due to its slimming properties, will be subject to "increased surveillance", announced the Health Insurance and the Medicines Safety Agency (ANSM) in a joint press release on Wednesday.
