Goal: modeling components and units of aircraft engines and power plants.

Task: study of methods and approaches of three-dimensional modeling of aircraft engine design in SolidWorks software package.

Program learning outcomes: PLO3 – Have the means of modern information and communication technologies to the extent sufficient for training and professional activities. PLO4 – Explain their decisions and the basis for their adoption to specialists and non-specialists in a clear and unambiguous form. PLO5 – Have the skills of self-study and autonomous work to improve professional skills and solve problems in a new or unfamiliar environment. PLO10 – Have the skills to determine the loads on the structural elements of aviation and space technology at all stages of its life cycle. PLO16 – Calculate the stress-strain state, determine the ineffectiveness of structural elements and the reliability of aerospace and rocket systems.
